Hotel Perla in Mamaia is among the first hotels built in the resort, specifically in 1962 when in Mamaia there was merely a wall built with limestone. The hotel is also the imagination of the same architect who built the Majestic Mamaia hotel and National Theatre - Cezar Lazarescu. It was considered from the beginning as a visionary project of the architect who guessed the magnitude buildings were about to have, on a spit of land between the Black Sea and Siutghiol Lake.
It's located at the entrance of Mamaia, near the Aqua Magic Water Park, the Luna Park and the departure point of the gondola that crosses the resort. Distance to the sea is about 100 meters, more than five minutes walk. With 14 floors, the hotel watches over the entire resort like a lighthouse.
Phoenicia Hotels Group took over the hotel in 1998. Hotel Perla maintains the standards of the group, making you fall in love from the entrance, providing comfort and a wide range of activities and services.
